Our Vision: A Life of Transformation in Christ
We are a community of disciples rooted in Jesus Christ, living in the freedom of the Gospel, sharing this life abundantly with others.
At the heart of our life is the call to communion with God and others. Our inspiration comes from the early Christian community in Jerusalem (Acts of the Apostles Chapters 2 and 4), and we take the Rule of St Benedict as our guide.
We seek “to prefer nothing whatever to Christ” (Rule of St Benedict), rooting our hearts every day in Him through personal prayer, listening to God’s Word, and celebrating the Divine Office. Called to follow Jesus in a wholehearted way, we are dedicated to a life of continual conversion – to be transformed in Christ. Our mission to form disciples flows from this contemplative life.
"They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. A sense of awe came over everyone, and the apostles performed many wonders and signs. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they shared with anyone who was in need." (Acts 2:42-45)
